Individual Coaching

Do you feel stuck and frustrated with your life, career or relationships and are you in need of solutions or answers? Impetus Resolutions will support you in your journey of self-discovery and development to navigate through life’s challenges using the Enneagram system, as well as other powerful coaching tools. Coaching is a relationship between an individual and a coach, utilising focused conversations to create an environment for individual growth, purposeful action, and sustainable transformation. It is designed to help
people focus on what they need to do more of, or less, to achieve their goals.
Coaching uses a formal yet personalised approach that integrates proven techniques for change with behavioural knowledge and hands-on practice. It is a process of self-leadership that enables people to gain clarity about who they are, what they are doing and why they are doing it. Coaching also addresses where you want to go using specific objectives focused on developing potential, improving relationships, and enhancing performance.
These sessions can be held face-to-face or virtually via Zoom/Webex/MS Teams/Video Conference depending on your geographic location.
Corporate Coaching,
Executives and Team Coaching

Impetus Resolutions offers corporate executives, professionals, entrepreneurs and private individuals tailor made one-to-one coaching programs to meet their objectives, desired outcomes and timeframe. Our coaches are trained to use a host of tools specifically designed to enhance the coaching process. We match our coaches with executives based on our proprietary process developed to ensure comfort, trust and increased value for our clients.

Coaches are teamed with tailor-made programs to meet the team specific goals and objectives. Our coaches will assist team leaders and their people to successfully transition through complex layers of change and relational dynamics for high performance and ongoing results.

Coaching themes includes:

The coach and executive will establish parameters as part of the coaching process. We would invite the coachee and their team leader to describe the goals or performance levels they would like to achieve. These goals serve as the skeleton for the coaching process and are built upon and updated in every subsequent session. Where disruption occurs or the client is unable to achieve assigned tasks, the limiting beliefs or behaviour patterns are explored, and these patterns are effectively addressed.

Our facilitators have the ability to meet core training and learning objectives with pre-designed modules, which they present with passion, insight and presence.

Enneagram Workshops

Nelia Steyn is an Enneagram aficionado and is very passionate about the impact the Enneagram has on an individual’s journey of self-awareness and development. She uses the Enneagram extensively in her work with coaching individuals, teams and organisational development. The Enneagram is an extremely valuable tool to understand the self and everyone else we have relationships with. Therefore it is extensively used for relationship coaching and conflict resolution.

Emotional Intelligence is a combination of two factors: 1) intrapersonal intelligence, which is the ability to understand, accept, and manage oneself. 2) interpersonal intelligence, the capacity to work effectively with a wide variety of other people. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is fast becoming the single greatest predictor of success in every occupation and industry across the globe. It out-distances IQ and on-the job experience.
Some believe that EQ cannot be taught but that we either have it or we don’t. However, the Enneagram system can help people develop EQ, illuminating our patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. This helps us to become more aware and responsible for our own reactions and showing us how the styles different from our own, are equally valid. Most important, the Enneagram is a system that gives us specific development activities that work best for our style and allow us to enhance our EQ. It supports the development of specific skills in areas such as communication, interpersonal relationships, feedback, conflict, teamwork, decision making, strategic thinking, and leadership.

The word enneagram comes from the Greek words ennea (“nine”) and gram (“something written or drawn”) and refers to the nine points on the Enneagram symbol. The nine different Enneagram types, identified as numbers One through Nine, reflect distinct habits of thinking, feeling, and behaving, with each type connected to a unique path of development. Each of us has only one place, or number, on the Enneagram; while our Enneagram type remains the same throughout our lifetime, the characteristics of our type may either soften or become more pronounced as we grow and develop.
“Success is a choice; a promise that you make to yourself to keep moving forward.”
